On Saturday, September 10th from 9:00 AM to 1:30pm, an FTC
kickoff event was be held at the New England Institute of Technology (NEIT) in
East Greenwich, Rhode Island. All the teams attending were able to attend a
selection of workshops, as well as getting a first look at the 2011 challenge video and animation
and the assembled FTC competition field. Erin
Flynn of NEIT (the RI FTC affiliate partner) hosted this event at the new East
Greenwich campus of NEIT, and questions were addressed for both
veteran and rookie teams. It was an auspicious beginning to what we expect to be
a great season.
